Exterior Carpentry
Siding, soffit, fascia, columns, decks, railings and fences — exterior wood cut, fitted and fastened properly.
Exterior Carpentry
The outside of the house is wood too, and weather is harder on it than anything inside. Everything gets cut and fitted the same way, but out here the prep and the fastening matter more, not less.
We repair and replace siding, exterior trim, fascia, soffit, columns, decks, railings, cable rail systems and fences. That means rotted fascia squared so the drip edge actually sheds water, soffit refitted to the rafter line, loose siding re-hung, deck soft spots and framing checked, posts repaired, cable rail tensioned and anchored to code height, and sagging board or picket fence re-posted.
The work is measured in place against a level rather than eyeballed. Deck framing and stairs get proper hangers, ledger flashing and joist spacing, trim gets sealed ends and fasteners chosen for the material, and every opening is checked for the way water actually leaves the wall.
If it is wood on the outside of the house and it needs to be straight, tight and square, that is the job. Send us a photo and we will tell you honestly what it takes.

Preparation Is The Actual Work.
Any trade we work in, the visible part is the easy part. Here is what actually happens before anything gets finished.
Look It Over
We get up close and find out why the wood failed — rot, insects, water tracking in, or something structural behind it.
Prep The Wood
Unsound material gets cut out, framing checked and squared, and surfaces sealed and flashed so water leaves instead of sitting.
Fit It Right
Fascia, soffit, trim, siding, decking and rails go on plumb, level and tight — fastened for outdoor load and weather, not just for the day.
Seal & Walk
Sealed ends, caulk lines and drainage get checked one more time, then we walk the exterior with you and show you what changed.
